Working at the bench
We are a small workshop, third generation, making sterling silver to order in Lahore. That means less structure than a big employer, more responsibility, and work that goes out with your standards on it. If you want a large team and a clear ladder, we are honestly not the right place.
What we look for
- Care about the details nobody else notices — the inside of a band, the back of a setting
- Willingness to say “I do not know” and then go and find out
- Patience. Nothing here is fast.
- Honesty about stones and about mistakes
Workshop roles
Bench jeweller — fabrication, repairs and finishing in 925 silver. Filing, soldering, sizing, reworking pieces that come back to us. We will train the right person who has the hands but not the years.
Stone setter — prong, bezel and channel setting on silver, including moissanite, sapphire, ruby and emerald. Emerald work needs a light touch; if you have it, say so.
Polisher and finisher — buffing, rhodium and gold plating, final quality check before a piece is boxed. The last pair of eyes on everything that leaves here.
Studio and store roles
Customer support (WhatsApp and email) — most of our customers reach us on WhatsApp. You need good written Urdu and English, and enough product knowledge to answer a real question about a stone or a size rather than deflecting it.
Jewellery photographer / content — shooting silver and faceted stones is its own discipline. If you can light a ring properly and keep a catalogue consistent, we want to talk to you.
Packing and dispatch — checking each piece against its order, boxing it properly and getting it to the courier. Made-to-order means there is no second copy of anything, so this job matters more than it sounds.
Apprenticeships
The craft is taught by doing — it is how all three generations here learned it. If you are serious about learning silversmithing and can commit properly, write to us even when nothing is advertised.
How to apply
Message us with what you have done and why this workshop specifically. For bench, setting and polishing roles, send photographs of your own work — they tell us more than a CV does. We reply to everyone.
