Our Story
A workshop, not a warehouse
Most jewellery sold in Pakistan is bought, not made. It arrives finished, in bulk, and the shop's job is to move it. We work the other way round: nothing exists until someone orders it, and it is made at a bench by a person whose name we know.
That is slower. A plain band takes a week; a piece with a natural stone can take three. We think the trade is worth it, and this page is our attempt to explain why.
Third generation
The craft came to us the way it usually does — across a bench, from one pair of hands to the next. Our grandfather worked the metal, our father learned from him, and we learned from our father. Three generations, and none of us were taught in a classroom.
What we inherited was technical: how to set a stone so it holds, how to finish the inside of a band where nobody looks, how to tell when silver has been worked enough and when it has been worked too much. But the part that mattered more was an attitude — that a piece should be made with intention, set with stones you can name honestly, and built to outlast the person who bought it.
Why 2019
We started this business in 2019. The craft was not new; the way we sell it was.
For most of those three generations, the work reached people through a counter — a shop, a middleman, a markup, and a customer who was told very little about what they were buying. We wanted to take the same bench and put it in front of people directly: show the stone, name the treatment, state the make time, and let someone ask as many questions as they need before spending anything.
That is the whole change. Same hands, same standards, fewer people in between and nothing hidden.
What we will always tell you
The jewellery trade runs on vagueness. “Semi-precious.” “Genuine.” “Real stone.” These words are chosen because they sound like information and are not.
So, plainly:
- Every piece is hallmarked 925 sterling silver. The stamp is on the metal. You can have it tested.
- Every stone is named. Natural, lab-grown or moissanite — stated on the product page, every time.
- Every treatment we know of is disclosed. Heated sapphire, oiled emerald. These are normal; hiding them is not.
- If we do not know something, we say we do not know.
What we stand behind
- Lifetime replating. Silver darkens. Send it back whenever it does, for as long as you own it, free.
- Lifetime craftsmanship warranty. If a setting fails because of how we made it, that is our problem and there is no time limit on it.
- Free resizing within 30 days.
- We buy it back. Any piece we made, at any time. See our honest page on resale value — it will talk you out of thinking of jewellery as an investment.
On moissanite
We sell a lot of it, and we are straightforward about what it is: silicon carbide, not diamond, not pretending to be. It has more fire than diamond, it is hard enough to wear every day for decades, and it costs a fraction of the price.
What it will not do is hold resale value. We would rather tell you that now than have you discover it in ten years.
Visit us
Our workshop is in Lahore and you are welcome to come by appointment. The bench is usually busy with made-to-order work, so we do not keep walk-in hours — message us and we will agree a time.
It is worth doing if you want to try ring sizes in person, or see how moissanite and natural stones actually look in daylight rather than in a photograph.
Get in touch to arrange a visit — or just to ask a question. We answer the ones that end in no purchase at all.
