925 Sterling Silver

Solid sterling silver, hallmarked — not plated base metal

The Cantilever is a modern moissanite solitaire, handcrafted in 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating. 0.7ct total of top-quality moissanite, D–E colour, VVS1 clarity, with GRA certificate. A stone held in the gap.

A stone held in the gap.

The band doesn't stop at the stone. It sweeps past itself — one arm above, one below — and the round brilliant sits in the opening between them, carried at four points where the two ends overlap.

No halo, no pavé, no shoulders. One stone, one band, and the space between.

Honest about the setting

This is a tension-style setting, and the difference matters enough to say plainly.

A true tension setting holds a stone by compression alone, with no claws — the metal is put under permanent load and the stone is the thing stopping it closing. It can be done, but it requires a metal with high spring temper, and sterling silver is not that metal. Silver is comparatively soft; a genuine tension setting in it would relax over time and eventually release the stone.

So ours has four claws, discreetly placed where the arms overlap. You get the floating look, with the stone actually held. Anyone selling you a true tension setting in sterling silver is either mistaken or hoping you won't ask.

Two finishes on one band

The broad face of the band is brushed — a fine directional satin texture — while the edges and the arms around the stone stay mirror polished.

That contrast is the whole design. Polished metal reflects its surroundings and competes with the stone; brushed metal scatters light softly and recedes, so the brilliant is the only thing throwing sparkle. Framing it with polished edges then draws a bright line down each side of the band, which keeps the shape crisp instead of flat.

There's a practical benefit too. A brushed surface hides the fine scratches that a wide polished band collects within weeks, and when it does eventually dull, it can be re-brushed rather than needing a full repolish.

Wearing it

Wide, flat, substantial, and completely unfussy. It sits low — nothing here catches on knitwear or turns on the finger, which is unusual for a ring with a raised stone.

It reads modern rather than traditional, and it's the one design in our collection that genuinely works as an engagement ring, a right-hand ring, or a ring bought for yourself. It's also the least gendered thing we make.

Because of the bypass, it doesn't sit flush against a wedding band. If you want a matched pair, choose one of the narrower designs. Worn alone, it doesn't need one.

What is moissanite?

Moissanite is a gemstone in its own right — silicon carbide — not an imitation of anything. It was first found in a meteorite crater, and the stones used in jewellery today are grown in a laboratory because natural moissanite is far too rare to set.

Two properties matter. It is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, harder than any gemstone except diamond, which is why it survives daily wear without the chipping that softer stones suffer. And its dispersion is roughly two and a half times that of diamond — it splits white light into visible spectral colour far more strongly. That is the fire you see: flashes of blue, green and orange where a diamond of the same size returns mostly white.

We say moissanite plainly on every page. It is not sold here as a diamond and never will be.

Why silver, and not gold?

Because the stone is the point. A heavy gold setting adds a great deal of money for metal that sits underneath the stone and is barely seen.

Rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver gives the same bright white-gold finish, keeps the budget in the stone and the setting, and our lifetime replating means the finish stays white for as long as you own the ring. If you would prefer this design in gold, message us on WhatsApp and we'll quote it.

Marked inside

CERELINE is engraved on the inner shank, where only the wearer sees it. Not ornament — provenance.

Made to order

Made in your size after you order, in 7 to 15 days. The band is wide and the head is a fixed structure, so resizing is possible only within a narrow range — and a wide band fits more snugly than a narrow one at the same nominal size, so consider going a half size up. Tell us if you're between sizes and we'll advise before we make it.

Care

Rhodium plating protects the silver beneath it, and it will wear with daily use — which is why replating is free for life. Store the ring in its box when you aren't wearing it, and put it on last, after perfume and hand cream.

One thing specific to this ring: use the polishing cloth on the mirror edges only. Working it hard across the brushed face will gradually polish out the satin texture and flatten the contrast the design depends on. For the brushed surface, warm soapy water and a soft cloth, wiped along the grain rather than across it.

Remove for chlorinated water, household chemicals and fragrance.

Frequently asked questions

Does it come with a certificate?
Yes. The centre stone ships with its GRA certificate.

Is this a real tension setting?
No, and we say so above rather than in the small print. It is tension-style, with four discreet claws doing the holding. A true compression setting needs a spring-tempered metal, and sterling silver isn't one.

Is moissanite the same as cubic zirconia?
No. Cubic zirconia is softer, clouds with wear and has far less fire. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale and holds its brilliance for life.

Will the plating wear off?
Eventually, yes — that is true of every rhodium-plated piece, at any price. Ours is free to replate for life.

How do I find my ring size?
We make sizes 10 to 20. Use the size guide on this page, or message us on WhatsApp at +92 371 4323294. Consider a half size up on this one — wide bands fit snugly.

How long will it take?
7 to 15 days, made to order in our Lahore workshop.

Where do you deliver?
Anywhere in Pakistan, free of charge. We make everything at our bench in Lahore, so Lahore orders arrive fastest — 1–2 days once the piece leaves the workshop, and 2–4 days elsewhere in Pakistan. Cash on delivery is available countrywide; because every piece is made to your size and cannot be resold as it stands, we take a 10% advance before we start and the remaining 90% is paid to the courier on delivery. You are also welcome to collect in person from our shop at Shop No. 15, Square 99 Mall, Bahria Town, Lahore.

What if it isn't right?
Cancel free within 24 hours of ordering. After delivery you have 5 days for a refund and 30 days to exchange, plus one free resize within 30 days. Engraved and custom pieces are exchange-or-resize only.

What arrives

Your ring in our signature presentation box, with a polishing cloth, care card and the GRA certificate. Delivered free anywhere in Pakistan, in packaging that doesn't announce what's inside.

Shipping information

Every piece is made after you order it, so the wait is longer than a shop selling stock — and the fit, the stone and the engraving are yours.

Allow 7–15 days at the bench, then 1–2 days with the courier in Lahore, or 2–4 days elsewhere in Pakistan. If you have a date to meet, tell us and we will be honest about whether we can make it.

Easy returns & exchange

30 days to exchange. 5 days to refund. On unworn pieces in their original box with the hallmark tag intact.

You can also cancel free within 24 hours of ordering, before we start work.

If the ring does not fit, send it back within 30 days and we resize it free, once. Some settings cannot be resized far without weakening them — we will tell you the limit honestly rather than damage your piece. A full eternity band cannot be resized at all, which is why we ask you to measure carefully before ordering one.

Engraved and custom pieces can be exchanged or resized but not refunded, because we cut your text into metal after sending you a proof.

Personalise it, make it yours

We can engrave a name, a date, a short phrase in English or Urdu, or handwriting and fingerprints taken from a photograph you send us.

Leave your text in the order notes or message us after ordering. We send a proof for your approval before we cut anything.

Engraving is complimentary on most pieces and adds 2–3 days to the make time.

Lifetime plating services

Silver darkens and rhodium plating wears. Both are normal, and both are reversible.

Send any piece back whenever it looks tired and we will clean, polish and replate it free — as many times as you need, for as long as you own it. While it is with us we check the stone settings too.

Most people do this once a year.

Moissanite, simply explained

GRA® Certificate

Moissanite has its own origins, brilliance, and report. Here are a few details to help you understand the stone you're considering.

Lab-created

Silicon carbide, first found in a meteorite crater in 1893. The natural supply is vanishingly small, so every stone we sell is grown in a lab.

Distinctive sparkle

It bends light harder than a diamond and splits it into more colour — white brilliance in daylight, flashes of rainbow under a restaurant light.

Stone details

9.25 on the Mohs scale, hard enough for daily wear. Cut, colour, clarity and measurements are listed on the report that comes with it.

Tension-style, honestly

A true tension setting holds a stone by compression alone and needs a high spring temper. Sterling silver is too soft — it would relax over time and release the stone. So this has four discreet claws where the arms overlap: the floating look, with the stone actually held.

Brushed face, polished edges

Polished metal reflects its surroundings and competes with the stone. A brushed face scatters light and recedes, so the brilliant is the only thing sparkling — and the polished edges draw a bright line down each side to keep the shape crisp.

Sits low, stays put

A wide flat shank with the stone carried in the bypass rather than raised on a head. Nothing catches on knitwear and the ring does not turn on the finger — unusual for a design with a raised stone.
