925 Sterling Silver

Solid sterling silver, hallmarked — not plated base metal

The Diagonal is a two-stone moissanite ring with an open split shank, handcrafted in 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating. 0.9ct total of top-quality moissanite, D–E colour, VVS1 clarity. Two stones of equal size, laid across the finger on the diagonal. No centre. No hierarchy.

Product details

  • Stone: 0.9ct total carat weight, round brilliant moissanite, D–E colour, VVS1 clarity — colourless and eye-clean
  • Certification: This design has two equal stones and no single centre, so it ships without a GRA certificate. Certifying each stone separately isn't practical — every stone is moissanite of the same grade
  • Metal: 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating — a white-gold finish that resists tarnish
  • Setting: Two equal stones in a diagonal bar setting, with four smaller stones clawed off each corner, on an open split shank
  • Sizes available: 10 to 20 — made to your size, never resized down from stock
  • Inside the band: CERELINE engraved on every ring
  • Gifting: Arrives in our signature presentation box with a polishing cloth and care card
  • Made to order: 7 to 15 days. We don't rush the setting — if you need it sooner, message us and we'll tell you honestly what's possible
  • Lifetime replating: Free rhodium replating for life on every Cereline piece
  • Delivery: Free anywhere in Pakistan — 1–2 days in Lahore, 2–4 days elsewhere. Cash on delivery available

Two stones of equal size, laid across the finger on the diagonal. No centre. No hierarchy.

Two round brilliant moissanite sit side by side in a bar setting angled across the ring, with a scatter of four smaller stones clawed off each corner. The band splits into open rails that run either side of the head and rejoin behind it.

There is no main stone here. That is the point.

Two, not three

Engagement rings are built on odd numbers. One stone, or three — something at the centre, something to defer to.

Two of equal size removes the centre entirely. The eye has nowhere to settle and keeps moving between them, which is why the head reads as active rather than composed.

It also carries a different meaning, for anyone who wants it to: two equals, side by side, neither one the subject. Traditional three-stone rings say past, present, future. This one says something simpler and more current.

On the bias

The pair is set diagonally across the shank rather than in line with it.

A straight setting follows the finger and disappears into the band. Angled, the head cuts across the ring's axis — it gains length, the two stones spread further across the hand, and the ring acquires a direction of travel.

The angle is what makes the design read as deliberate rather than as a solitaire with a second stone added.

The corner stones

Four small moissanite clawed loosely off each end of the bar — not aligned, not evenly spaced.

Set as a neat row they would have made this a five-stone ring and killed the diagonal. Scattered, they behave like sparks thrown off the ends of the bar: they extend the line without continuing it, and they blur the point where the head stops and the metal begins.

The open shank

Either side of the head, the band divides into parallel rails with clear space between them, running back and rejoining at the base. Three reasons.

Weight. A shank wide enough to carry a diagonal head would be heavy if solid. Split, it holds the width and loses the mass.

Light. Open rails let light pass through the shoulders rather than stopping at them. The sides of the ring stay bright where a solid band would go dark.

Line. The rails echo the diagonal — they run parallel to the bar, not to the finger — so the whole ring reads as one angled gesture rather than a head sitting on a band.

On the hand

Compact, low, and quieter than the description suggests. The head sits close to the finger, the bar shields the stones from the sides, and there is very little standing proud to catch.

It is directional. The diagonal only works one way round, and an open shank sized loose will rotate. Size precisely.

Stacking: the rails meet the head at an angle, so a straight band will contact at the high point and gap either side. Worn alone, and designed for it.

What is moissanite?

Moissanite is a gemstone in its own right — silicon carbide — not an imitation of anything. It was first found in a meteorite crater, and the stones used in jewellery today are grown in a laboratory because natural moissanite is far too rare to set.

Two properties matter. It is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, harder than any gemstone except diamond, which is why it survives daily wear without the chipping that softer stones suffer. And its dispersion is roughly two and a half times that of diamond — it splits white light into visible spectral colour far more strongly. That is the fire you see: flashes of blue, green and orange where a diamond of the same size returns mostly white.

We say moissanite plainly on every page. It is not sold here as a diamond and never will be.

Why silver, and not gold?

Because the stone is the point. A heavy gold setting adds a great deal of money for metal that sits underneath the stone and is barely seen.

Rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver gives the same bright white-gold finish, keeps the budget in the stone and the setting, and our lifetime replating means the finish stays white for as long as you own the ring. If you would prefer this design in gold, message us on WhatsApp and we'll quote it.

Marked inside

CERELINE is engraved on the inner shank, where only the wearer sees it. Not ornament — provenance.

Made to order

Cut to your size after you order, in 7 to 15 days. The rails converge into a solid shank at the base; resizing happens there and never approaches the split or the setting. Because orientation is structural here, tell us if you sit between sizes before you order.

Care

Rhodium plating protects the silver beneath it, and it will wear with daily use — which is why replating is free for life. Store the ring in its box when you aren't wearing it, and put it on last, after perfume and hand cream.

The split shank is the work. Every rail has an inner face you can't reach with a cloth, and the gaps between them hold water. Warm water, a drop of detergent, a soft brush through every gap from both ends, then across the corner stones and under the bar. Rinse fully. Dry fully — the inside of the rails first. Monthly.

Remove for chlorinated water, household chemicals and fragrance.

Frequently asked questions

Does it come with a certificate?
No, and here's why. A GRA certificate covers one stone. This design is built on two equal stones with no centre, plus eight small accents, and certifying each one separately isn't practical — the paperwork would cost more than the stones. Every stone is moissanite of the same grade we use throughout. If you want a certified centre stone, our solitaire and halo designs ship with one.

Is moissanite the same as cubic zirconia?
No. Cubic zirconia is softer, clouds with wear and has far less fire. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale and holds its brilliance for life. They are not comparable materials and they are not comparably priced.

Will the plating wear off?
Eventually, yes — that is true of every rhodium-plated piece, at any price. Ours is free to replate for life, so it is never a reason not to buy.

How do I find my ring size?
We make sizes 10 to 20. Use the size guide on this page, or message us on WhatsApp at +92 371 4323294 and we'll walk you through measuring. This design is directional, so size it precisely.

How long will it take?
7 to 15 days, made to order in our Lahore workshop. If you have a date to meet, tell us and we'll be honest about whether we can make it.

Where do you deliver?
Anywhere in Pakistan, free of charge. We make everything at our bench in Lahore, so Lahore orders arrive fastest — 1–2 days once the piece leaves the workshop, and 2–4 days elsewhere in Pakistan. Cash on delivery is available countrywide; because every piece is made to your size and cannot be resold as it stands, we take a 10% advance before we start and the remaining 90% is paid to the courier on delivery. You are also welcome to collect in person from our shop at Shop No. 15, Square 99 Mall, Bahria Town, Lahore.

What if it isn't right?
Cancel free within 24 hours of ordering. After delivery you have 5 days for a refund and 30 days to exchange, plus one free resize within 30 days. Engraved and custom pieces are exchange-or-resize only.

What arrives

Your ring in our signature presentation box, with a polishing cloth and care card. Delivered free anywhere in Pakistan, in packaging that doesn't announce what's inside.

Shipping information

Every piece is made after you order it, so the wait is longer than a shop selling stock — and the fit, the stone and the engraving are yours.

Allow 7–15 days at the bench, then 1–2 days with the courier in Lahore, or 2–4 days elsewhere in Pakistan. If you have a date to meet, tell us and we will be honest about whether we can make it.

Delivery is free anywhere in Pakistan, with no minimum order. We make everything at our bench in Lahore, so Lahore orders arrive fastest. You are also welcome to collect in person from our shop at Shop No. 15, Square 99 Mall, Bahria Town, Lahore.

Easy returns & exchange

30 days to exchange. 5 days to refund. On unworn pieces in their original box with the hallmark tag intact.

You can also cancel free within 24 hours of ordering, before we start work.

If the ring does not fit, send it back within 30 days and we resize it free, once. Some settings cannot be resized far without weakening them — we will tell you the limit honestly rather than damage your piece. A full eternity band cannot be resized at all, which is why we ask you to measure carefully before ordering one.

Engraved and custom pieces can be exchanged or resized but not refunded, because we cut your text into metal after sending you a proof.

Personalise it, make it yours

We can engrave a name, a date, a short phrase in English or Urdu, or handwriting and fingerprints taken from a photograph you send us.

Leave your text in the order notes or message us after ordering. We send a proof for your approval before we cut anything.

Engraving is complimentary on most pieces and adds 2–3 days to the make time.

Lifetime plating services

Silver darkens and rhodium plating wears. Both are normal, and both are reversible.

Send any piece back whenever it looks tired and we will clean, polish and replate it free — as many times as you need, for as long as you own it. While it is with us we check the stone settings too.

Most people do this once a year.

Two, not three

Odd numbers create a centre and a hierarchy. Two equal stones remove it — the eye keeps moving between them, and the head reads as active rather than composed. Two equals, side by side.

Set on the bias

The pair runs diagonally across the shank rather than along it. The head gains length, spreads further across the hand, and the ring acquires a direction. It's what separates this from a solitaire with a stone added.

Lower than it sounds

The head sits close, the bar shields the stones from the sides, and little stands proud to catch. Directional by design — size it precisely and it stays where it's put.
